Safety

1.1 The Client shall ensure that he or she or, where relevant, the person with responsibility to drop off and pick up the Child to and from the tuition lessons at 324 Marsh Lane Stockland Green Birmingham B23 6HP shall:

1.1.1 drop off the Child to the supervision of the teacher responsible for the Child’s lesson at the beginning of the session when the teaching room is opened and not before; and
1.1.2 collect the Child from the teacher responsible for the Child’s lesson at the end of the session from the teaching room as requested at the end of the lesson.
1.1.3 The Child should not enter or leave the building without the supervision of the Client or the person with responsibility to drop off and pick up the Child.

Medical conditions, medications and treatments

2.1 At the point of registration, the Client shall inform Standard Tuition if the Child has or suffers from any medical injury, condition (including any allergies) or disability that ought to be brought to the attention of Standard Tuition so that an assessment of the Child’s needs can be properly made.
2.2 If Standard Tuition is informed that a Child attending a lesson has an allergy, the teacher will, if specifically instructed by the Client, take reasonable precautions to protect that pupil from exposure to the cause of the allergy, but Standard Tuition cannot guarantee non-exposure.

Cancellation by the Client

3.1 Standard Tuition understands that the Client’s circumstances may change and Standard Tuition will seek to accommodate the Client where possible.
3.2 If a client wishes to cancel lessons, you are free to terminate tuition at any time and will be refunded for any future lessons you have already paid for, but which you no longer require.
3.3 As demand is extremely high for 11+ lessons, non-attended lessons will not generate a refund, but lesson materials can be given to the Client to work through at home, if requested.

Payment terms

4.1 If payment is not received by the due date, Standard Tuition reserves the right to suspend tuition services until the invoice is paid in full. Once full payment has been made, Standard Tuition will provide copies of any lessons missed, to work through in the Client’s own time.

Cancellation or Amendment by Standard Tuition

5.1 At any time on or prior to the date on which the lessons run, Standard Tuition reserves the right to cancel:
5.1.1 the lesson; or
5.1.2 the Child’s place at the lesson and, in such circumstances, the Client is entitled to a refund of the lesson.
5.2 At any time on or prior to the date on which the lesson runs, Standard Tuition reserves the right to propose a new date/time for the lesson. In such circumstances, the Client shall be entitled to either:
(i) accept the new date/time; or
(b) receive a refund for that lesson on the same basis as if the session has been cancelled by Standard Tuition.

Please note: these clarifications have been stated so that the Client understands their rights when registering for lessons with Standard Tuition. Every effort is made to ensure that all lessons run as timetabled to avoid any disappointment or inconvenience.
